What are the Best Breakup Songs?
I recently found an old friend I’d all but forgotten: my Missy Higgins The Sound of White album. This album and I go way back. It got me through a hideous breakup with hours of cathartic sobbing, crying and feeling generally sorry for myself. I had it on repeat for months and months…
Do you have a “favorite” break up song? Or album? Is it the woe-is-me kind or the fuck you type of album (Jagged Little Pill, anyone?).

A song I listened to when I last had my heart broken was “Single” by Everything But The Girl.
The whole album “Walking Wounded” is a soundtrack for a breakup.
‘Division’ by Aly & Aj got me through some seriously tough times at the beginning of our break up.
Last time I had to get over someone it took way to long and I was listening to sappy stuff.
If it happens again it’s going to be “99 problems” by Jay Z and crank it up until I feel better.
